AEDs for Heart Month

Help Us Save Lives Across the U.P.
The Superior Health Foundation (SHF) is on a mission to equip nonprofit organizations throughout the Upper Peninsula with lifesaving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

We’re raising funds to ensure at least 30 AEDs are available for distribution to local nonprofits that serve our communities. Every dollar raised stays right here in the U.P. and goes directly toward purchasing this critical equipment.

In honor of Heart Month, starting February 1st, 2026, SHF will launch an AED program to distribute these devices to eligible nonprofits. Organizations that utilize public spaces, host group events, or serve large numbers of older adults are encouraged to apply through the SHF grants portal.

AEDs will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies are exhausted.

Your support can make a life-or-death difference for our friends, families, and neighbors.

Join us in this life-saving effort today. Together, we can make the U.P. a safer place for everyone.
